Q1: What type of batteries does the lock use and how long do they last?
The lock is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries. Under normal usage, the battery life typically lasts between 8 to 12 months.
Q2: Is the management software free to use?
Yes, the software is free, permanent, and comes packed with the Encoder for authorized card management.
Q3: What happens if the battery voltage becomes low?
When the voltage drops below 4.5V, a warning will sound during unlocking. The lock can still be opened approximately 50 times after the first warning before batteries are exhausted.
Q4: Can this system be integrated with other hotel software?
Yes, the powerful door lock software can be integrated with any Hotel Management Software (PMS) using our SDK (DLL).
Q5: What materials are used for the lock construction?
The locks are made of high-quality Zinc Alloy with chrome plating, making them moisture-proof and fire-retardant. The PVD surface finishing is designed to last at least 15 years.
Q6: What is the emergency opening method if the card fails?
In case of emergency or electronic failure, the lock can always be opened using a traditional mechanical key.
